Street Writer is the free word game that let's you play at your own rhythm. It's:
• Multiplayer word game: Just like a real game of scrabble up to four people can play at the same time.
• Asynchronous: You never have to wait your turn. It's not like Scrabble or words with friends.
• New rules: Steal your opponent's letters, blow their words off the board, or sneak a few extra tiles into your hand!
• Free: You can play as many free words as you like.
The concept is simple, it's a free for all multiplayer word game. You have 50 letters to make the best score you can. Once you're done you're free to start a new word game. In the mean time the other players finish and then we compare the scores and decide who the winner is.
Strategy is everything. You choose the bonus you start your game with. Will you play fair and try to build the longest words, or get dirty and steal letters, plant mines or wipe the board? Each match starts with a unique ability which will give you an advantage in the game but also change your strategy.
Street Writer is truly cross-platform. You can play on your phone and tablet or on your PC browser. All of your progress and games are saved across all your devices no matter how you log in. Play on your PC at www.street-writer.com.
Street writer uses the Official Scrabble Players Dictionary word list and the Collins Scrabble Words list added together (SOWPODS). On top of this we've added support for the Official Tournament and Club Word List (OTCWL). With the combination of the official Scrabble dictionaries you have the best chance of finding a word to play.
